Actor Sean Gallagher braved Chris Tarrant’s quiz to raise funds for WSPA’s project to end bear dancing in India

WSPA says a huge thank you to Sean Gallagher, star of ITV’s drama series Rock Rivals, who won £10,000 for us on a celebrity special of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, aired on Saturday 23 August.

British actor Sean Gallagher, who was also well loved as one of Coronation Street’s best villains – Paul Connor – braved Chris Tarrant’s quiz to raise funds for WSPA’s project to end bear dancing in India, an issue that he feels strongly about.

Chris Tarrant, host of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, said “It’s always much harder for celebrities, as the stakes feel so much higher when it’s for charity. They’ve all been great sports in aid of literally hundreds of good causes, and I take my hat off to them.”
